This marks the beginning of a new weekly feature I’m calling Typography Thursday. It’s basically a round up of cool typography-related stuff I’ve come across online.
I shot the serif – This image has been making the rounds on Digg and Twitter today. I wish I knew who created it.
Kern in Space – The folks at Veer Ideas have created a game for the extreme typophile in us all. They put it best, “in space, no one can hear you kern.”

My contribution for the first ever Ignite Minneapolis. Thanks to videographer Brian Stemmler for making me look good.
The Ignite challenge: Any topic, 20 slides, 15 seconds per slide, 5 minutes total. This was so much fun. It helped to be talking about a subject I’m passionate about. Remember, friends don’t let friends use bad fonts.
