All About Me
Designer. Plate-spinner. Caffeinated Powerhouse.
Hello, I’m Mykl Roventine. I’ve been designing engaging web experiences for almost a decade (and all kinds of other things since I was old enough to hold a crayon). I’ve worked with a multitude of clients of all sizes on everything from concept to launch and beyond. I’m proficient in functional web design and effective online communication (via blogs, podcasts, email and more). I have a special passion for the social aspects of the web and the potential of the internet to educate and inspire.
Honing my skills as a freelance graphic designer throughout the 1990s, I slowly transitioned to the online world at the turn of the century. Since then, I’ve have worked as a freelancer and with various Twin Cites web agencies. I landed at Ciceron in Minneapolis as their Senior Interactive Designer in 2007.
I continue to do occasional freelance projects, spend way too much time on social networks and blog at myklroventine.com.
My interests include strong coffee, amateur photography, great design, cool technology, all sorts of music (especially cover songs) and jackalopes. I live in West Saint Paul, Minnesota with my wife, Jodi and two amazing daughters, Matilda and Lucy.
