This week I’ve been auctioning off my services to support Cheerful Givers, a Minnesota nonprofit organization that provides toy-filled birthday gift bags to food shelves and shelters so that parents living in poverty can give their child a birthday gift. The gift bags are distributed to a food shelf or shelter, and placed in the hands of children in need.

They are running a social fundraiser with the goal is to raise $1,600 strictly through the power of social media. You can always donate directly on their website, but I thought an auction would be a fun way to up the ante and get some larger donations. I also wanted to do something special since the campaign ends tomorrow.

The rules are simple. I’ll take bids in the comments section and the winning bidder has to make an online donation to Cheerful Givers on the social fundraiser page in that amount.
