I’m auctioning off my services to support Cheerful Givers, a Minnesota nonprofit organization that provides toy-filled birthday gift bags to food shelves and shelters so that parents living in poverty can give their child a birthday gift. The gift bags are distributed to a food shelf or shelter, and placed in the hands of children in need.

This week marks their 16th anniversary and their second online-only social fundraiser. The goal is to raise $1,600 strictly through the power of social media.

The rules are simple. I’ll take bids in the comments section and the winning bidder each day has to make an online donation to Cheerful Givers on the social fundraiser page in that amount.
