Comic Serif? – Believe me, I’m no fan of Comic Sans. Nevertheless, I had to check out designer Hannes von Döhren’s alternative protest font, Comic Serif. He wants it to “spread all over and make the world a little bit better.” To help achieve that goal a new OpenType “Pro” version of the free font has been issued. 25 Classic Fonts That Will Last a Whole Design Career – Interesting post by Chris Spooner. He hits all the predictable standbys (Helvetica, Futura, Gill Sans, etc.) but also includes some surprises (Meta, Dax, Cocon, Rotis). What do you think?
