Kernest.com – A web font delivery service launched yesterday. Touted as a simple, standards-compliant, way to display custom fonts on your website, this exciting Twin Cities startup is the brainchild of Garrick Van Buren. I’m working on an upcoming post with more details.

Last but not least, I got to meet local font designer rockstar Chank Diesel yesterday! Chank has crafted over 300 amazing fonts and done custom work for major brands looking to stand out from the crowd. I’ll admit to being a bit starstruck.
